Welcome to the new FAMB Website.
The login process for the FAMB website has been changed. Members will now be able to create their own login name and password.
Current members, to login use your FAMB member ID number with no leading zeros(ex. 004567 would now be 4567) as your user name and your last name with the first letter capitalized(ex. Smith) for the password. Once you have logged in you will be able to change your login name and password.
FAMB will prepare you for the changes affecting the mortgage industry.
FAMB will present the proposed changes to FS 494 and how they will conform to the SAFE Act (Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008)
FAMB will guide you through the changes to help prepare your company and employees to get in compliance and stay in compliance.
Proposed changes to FS 494 will require ALL non-licensed mortgage originators to be licensed by July (no specific date set). Meaning: all originators who do business in Florida must complete 24 hours of classroom education, submit a finger print card and application, and pass a state exam. (click here for more details)
